God’s word is an amazing and exciting story.  We are intrigued by the creation story, comforted by the Psalms, puzzled by the Proverbs, awed with the Exodus, overwhelmed by the detailed history, amazed by the accuracy of the prophets, warmed by the gospels, and confused by the Revelation.

Because the Revelation seems so confusing to most people, most people avoid reading it. Yet it is the climax of the story. It is the reason for everything else. It is exciting. It is the final call to salvation. Jesus will come and gather his elect, and we will ride with him as He cleanses the earth of all evil people. We will reign with Christ on this earth for 1000 years during which time Satan will be bound. At end of the 1000 years, Satan will make his last charge against the elect and be destroyed. Satan will be cast into the lake of fire. The lost will be judged and thrown into the lake of fire. All evil will be destroyed. A New Heaven and New Earth will be created. A new Jerusalem will come down from heaven. And we will live with God forever, and ever. . .

We will have finally come home.  We Win!
